The Great Easter Egg Hunt

My sister and I put together an Easter egg hunt for the niece and nephews.

The family gag item even got an egg hidden in it:

Gingerbread Houses

Over Thanksgiving, my sister decided she wanted her kids to decorate gingerbread houses. I have to say that my niece and nephew (2 and 4 consecutively), have a brave mother.

Here was the outcome (with most candies eaten during the process):

My Favorite Subjects

So I admit it...my favorite subjects are my niece and nephews when it comes to photography. They are all pretty natural in front of the camera. I got blessed with a bunch of hams for my niece and nephews!

Here are a few shots from Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, I didn't get any photos of my other two nephews...but you'll see a bunch of photos of them after Christmas.

Mom

She lived her life on this earth to serve those around her selflessly. She lived each day on this earth never taking one single moment for granted. She loved to be kissed by her hubby. She savored the flavor of a good cup of coffee. She loved to rock her grandchildren to sleep and said often that the greatest thing in life is to be a Grandma. She saw that every "t" was crossed and every "i" was dotted. She loved to see sunsets and often said, "There will never be another sunset exactly like that one--ever."

She is a woman, a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a grandma, an aunt, a confidant, an advisor, a teacher, a nurse, an encourager, a comforter, a helper, a spiritual leader, a server, a lover and a friend.
