A friend of mine leant me a copy of the pre-release of Chris Rice's album "What a Heart is Beating For" (due out on July 17). I was hooked on the first song. Yep, it's that good.
One of my favorite songs is called "Lemonade." Once of the lines is:
Life gave me lemonade
And I can't imagine why
Born on a sunny day
Beneath the tangerine sky
I live life without pretending
I'm a sucker for happy endings
Thanks for the lemonade
I only hope that in my life, amidst all of the crappiness, the mistakes and missteps, I will always be a sucker for happy endings.
